Hands Only CPR:

WHY LEARN HANDS-ONLY CPR (HOCPR)?

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and most of those people die from sudden cardiac arrest.  There are over 400,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually in the United States and only 10% of those victims survive UNLESS someone on the scene gives them immediate CPR.  Most Americans are afraid of giving CPR.  They feel they don't know what do to do and will hurt the victim.  That is wrong.  Hands Only CPR  is very easy, very simple, very effective and anyone can learn it in just a few minutes.  If you try Hands Only CPR on someone suffering sudden cardiac arrest, that person has a good chance of living.  If you don't, they almost certainly will die.  We should all know how to perform simple, Hands Only CPR.
